Chicago’s favorite funk/rock/soul band Hood Smoke is teaming up with special guests Davy Knowles and Matt Reed to bring you Paddy Smoke. They’ll play Irish-inspired music for your little Irish-loving heart. Plus we’ll have food specials like corned beef, Irish-smoked salmon and more. MONDAY, FEB 29TH, LINCOLN SQUARE, 7PM. How many rabbits? 5 RABBITS! Our first beer event at Lincoln Square is going to be a good one. A very limited selection of experimental new and rare beers from 5 Rabbit Cerveceria will be on tap.
-Ironica IPA: A new offering that is still being tweaked. We get to taste the test batch. It’s like we’re in the future.
-Gran Missionario Pale Belgian Strong Ale with white grapes and pear.
-El Inigo Montoya: Bourbon Barrel-Aged Yodo Con Leche Imperial Porter with milk caramel and coffee. This beast won a silver medal at FOBAB last year!

The menu changes for February are small, with one exception. We are bringing back the larger list of monthly specials so, after we retire the Mardi Gras specials, they will be replaced by ~10 new specials (like the old days). Beyond that, we have added 4 new beverages – Cheerwine (a southern cherry soda since 1917) and 3 Spindrift naturally flavored seltzers. The Dorothy D was removed, since a fried fish special will be a staple on the new specials list.

Thursday, February 18th. Celebrate a night of magic, myth, and epic heroism. And beer. Lots of barrel-aged beer. The fifth annual Oak & Iron begins at 6 pm with an array of fantasy-inspired prog and assorted metals, while regaling you with tales from forgotten sword-wielding cinema on our ten-foot screen.
